- Sunday, April 30th - Pistol Safety Course at 8:00 a.m. All registration is to be directed to John Sparano at the club's email. Our team of Certified NRA Instructors offer this 8-hour course for everyone preparing to apply for their pistol license or for those individuals seeking an upgrade to their existing license. The course fee is $95.00; club members and immediate family pay a discounted fee. Coffee, refreshments and homemade lunch items are available for sale during this course for all who attend.
Please note that club shooting ranges will be closed from 12:00 until 3:00 on this date.
Our Upper Range will be open to members and available for pistol shooting on these days only.
Members are reminded that the more raffle books you sell, the better for our club and, of course, the lucky winners! Send us an email to request more books or pick them up at our next meeting in May.

And, club members are invited to join our Food Throwdown competition at this event...this year's challenge? Mac & Cheese...any which way you can bring it to the judging table! The NYDEP will supply fishing poles and bait to those who do not have their own; families with their own equipment are encouraged to bring it along. As part of the "I Fish NY Program", the NYS fishing license requirement will be waived for adults who want to fish during this event.

Spring Turkey Season starts soon!
Hunters are preparing for another great spring of wild turkey hunting in upstate New York. The Youth Hunt for Wild Turkey will take place on April 22nd and 23rd, a terrific opportunity for adults to mentor youngsters, ages 12 through 18.

- Sunday, May 7th - Annual Spring Clean-up ! Work sign-in at 9;00 a.m., (Please Note: No later than 11:00 for work hours to be recorded, for this work event only!). Members are asked to bring along necessary tools (ladders, leaf blowers, rakes, chain saws, etc.,) for ground and clubhouse maintenance. Our club kitchen will have a light breakfast along with a great lunch for all members who participate!
- May 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th - Kent Police Department Lower Range Use-10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Our Upper Range will be open to members and available for pistol shooting on these days only.
