Reminder! - Family Camp-out is ON!

The weather is looking camper-friendly for this week-end and our Annual Family Camp-out is ON for this Saturday, September 15th.

Come and pitch your tents late Saturday afternoon...a few helping hands will be needed to set up a bonfire and get our grill ready for cooking Burgers and Hot Dogs.  Feel free to bring along a side dish/dessert to share.  Soda and water will be provided along with plenty of coffee to help the parents stay awake while the kids enjoy themselves.  Sunday morning, campers will enjoy a light breakfast.

Don't forget comfortable chairs for sitting around the fire along with plenty of warm blankets if temps get chilly.

Club member Rob Firriolo is planning to teach two excellent courses in October....

1)     Personal Protection Inside the Home - 
Sunday, October 14th

2)     Personal Protection Outside the Home - 

Saturday, October 20th & Sunday, October 21st

Several Board Members of the Kent Rod & Gun Club have taken these courses and highly recommend both as they are terrific learning experiences for all Pistol License holders, especially if you carry for protection.

Family Camp-out Postponed

Our Annual Family Camp-out has been postponed until Saturday, September 15th, due to some bad weather headed our way this week-end.

Members and friends are asked to keep the date open and hope for some camper-friendly weather next week!  Again, those planning to attend are asked to send your responses to the KR&G at.....kentrodandgunclub@gmail.com.

A reminder on our General Membership Meeting, this Friday evening, September 7th at 8 p.m.  Senator Steve Saland will be in attendance and taking questions from the membership.
